Surrounding ourselves with the best possible team members, who do their job well, and do it with pride, is something we always strive for. It’s no doubt that our Safety Coordinator, Anna, is one of those team members. Anna keeps our industrial electrician team safe on and off the job site, and there’s nothing more important than that.
WHAT SAFETY MEANS TO US
Anna enjoys her role because she’s always learning new things in the industry, as well as keeping up-to-date with new regulations and compliances. When I asked her what she thought the most important part of her job was, she said,
“taking it seriously so everyone goes home at the end of the day,”
and that hit home with our company values. Every project we start has a new challenge, and it’s everyone’s job to take the right steps to ensure safety on each and every project.
In addition to keeping up with the newest safety regulations, Anna does an awesome job with weekly meetings, keeping our field team in-the-know and not to mention–SAFE! She strives to plan her meetings around the elements our team will be exposed to, whether it’s snow, rain, thunderstorms, or really tall ladders, Anna has our back! It’s a great feeling knowing how much she truly cares for all of us, that’s the type of person that makes a good team great.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Before stepping into her Safety Coordinator title, Anna studied photography at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter and graduated with a degree in studio art and art history. Since graduating, she has photographed 7 weddings, many family sessions, and many graduation sessions. Aside from those sessions, you can find Anna snapping photos. Her love for art and history shows through in everything she shoots, and we couldn’t be happier to have such an awesome in-house photographer at our disposal.
Her experience with safety has definitely grown over the years as she has volunteered for her local fire department in roles such as First Responder, EMT, and Secretary. She has undergone extensive in-person, and online training sessions and has a knack for teaching safety as well. Her strong sense of community benefits not only our team but also her friends and family in the area due to her dedication to serving others with her safety expertise over the last five years.
