From closely held family farms to large commercial agricultural operations, Jackson Electric has the capabilities to handle any size agricultural project. Over the years, we have established ourselves as experts in the agricultural market in southern MN and the surrounding rural areas. The following are a few areas that our agricultural customers have asked of us:
Large Grain Elevator Installations
Since many of your family-run farms around the Winthrop area have grown over the years to run hundreds of acres of crops, you have found a need for on-site grain storage. Jackson Electric has the expertise to install the electrical solutions for any size of grain holding system from simple bins to advanced computer-run bin systems.
Species-Specific Livestock Facilities
Many of our customers in the agricultural market have founded their businesses on a specific niche of livestock. Species-specific livestock facilities such as turkey farms, chicken hatcheries, dairy operations, and farrowing facilities, are all part of the repertoire for us at Jackson Electric.
Wiring Machine Sheds, Barns, and Livestock Yards
At Jackson Electric, our customers in the agricultural market know that once their farm buildings are wired and go live, they will be set for years. In fact, many of our agricultural customers have been with us since the beginning, since 1987. They have learned that any machine shed, barn, or livestock yard that our team of electricians has worked on in the past was done with quality and will last years in the future.
Underground Cable Burial
Many farms today are spread out with plenty of space between the farmhouse and the edge of the last barn. Using Jackson Electric’s trencher, they are able to bury cable over hundreds of feet to keep above ground cable to a minimum. Often times, driveways in family farms can be very long and most of our agricultural customers want power to all their buildings which means trenching in underground cable is a must. Without Jackson Electric’s trenching equipment, many of our customers would have to call on distant companies to finish the job that would add unnecessary cost to each project.
